Where is packet pickup?

2 times…Friday night, March 31st in Downtown Dunedin. Or, alternatively, at Highlander Park at the race start/finish line on race morning, April 1st.

Are baby strollers allowed on the course?

This is a trail run, through the woods and mostly on sand and dirt trails that are likely not suited for strollers.

Can I walk or jog?

Yes! Our 5k is designed to be a fun event for folks of all skill levels! We would love for everyone to join us!

Is this a timed event?

Yes, we are professionally timed!

When does the race start?

The start gun is at 9 am from Highlander Park in Dunedin.

Are there Age Group Awards?

No, everyone earns a race medal but those are the only awards at this race. There are, however, age group division places on our online results.

Do you upload results to Athlinks?

Yes! All of our events have results uploaded online to Athlinks.

Will you have water on the course?

Yes! As close to the 1.55 mile marker as we can be there will be a water station.

Do I need trail running shoes to run or walk this event?

No, there are no steep inclines or rough terrain. Just sand, dirt, grass, and sidewalks!

Do I get anything for participating in this event?

For sure!! A race t-shirt, race medal for all finishers, and a free entry into the 2023 Highland Games!
